There's nothing quite like mom...

In the last few weeks I've been fortunate enough to enjoy the company and help of both my mom and mother-in-law. My mom was out here the first week in December, and Neil's mom flew in last Wednesday for the Holidays. It's impossible to explain, but to me, there's just something extra special about having mom around.

I am so grateful to have not one, but TWO moms! I love that I can laugh with each of them over silly things, that I can comfortably ask for advice or help without feeling as though I'm imposing, and that I can be myself around them both. Aside from everything else, I'm forever grateful for the love and encouragement they extend to me as a young mom who's still figuring it all out.

Thanks for all you both do! I appreciate and love you more than you know...

I agree too. I'm glad you have two moms you can rely on. Looks like they love that sweet boy!

What a surprise! I got on to see your sweet tribute to Dad and Gma Martha again, and look what I found. You are very blessed indeed to have such a wonderful mom-in-law as Susie (love her too!). And it would be very hard (impossible in fact) to find a mom who loves her daughter more than this mom here :).

Thanks for this! I'm sure I can also speak for Susie when I say that what you said about moms is very similar to the joys of having such an understanding, fun, and wonderful daughter. What a blessing you are!

Love you so!

Like everyone else, I couldn't agree more. It's nice that they both have been able to come visit!

Wow Valeri, like your Mom, I missed this post. Thanks for your kind words. I just love you bunches and also feel like I can be myself around you. Neil couldn't have found a better wife! And you couldn't have asked for a better Mother!

Love, Momma Susie
