Last night we learned about the war in heaven and tonight we'll read about when God created the earth. Despite how sweet Chloe looks in the picture below, she had quite the meltdown when Neil finished chapter 1 and closed the book. Hopefully this behavior doesn't become part of our nightly routine.
A bit off the subject, but does anyone remember Arch books? It seems we had hundreds growing up, but I'm not sure what happened to them. Mom? These books (and the ones mentioned above) contributed to the knowledge and appreciation I now hold for the priceless stories and lessons of the Bible, and I hope to eventually collect them all for Chloe.

I remember those books. My mom actually still has a whole bunch from when I was a kid. They are great! Good luck on your hunt, try ebay. Carri
None of us is ever going to see a more precious picture than the one of Chloe and her dad reading that precious book. Look at both their faces. Makes you kinda want to melt, doesn't it? I am so happy you got those books, are reading them to Chloe every night, and especially that she loves them so. It will be a lifetime memory for her as well as the priceless gift of scripture reading. You are wonderful parents.
Love you so....

P.S. As for the Arch Books - ask your brother :).
Love you!

I love those books. That's what we read when we were growing up, too. It's awesome that you are continuing that tradition now with Chloe.
Hi Valeri,I'm glad you found me. :)
I love your blog too! And I love what you did with your blog, you have so many great ideas.
It's funny because we have been enjoying those books with Cassidy too. She loves the pictures and thinks everyone with a beard is Jesus.
Chloe is so cute! She's such a happy little girl!
I am going to have to make a trip to that store. Kya just wants to read our scriptures and I am afraid she will tear them. She needs her own scriptures, those would be great.
