We have a new nephew! Todd Wesley Andersen was born to Jeff and Allison on the 12th of July at 11:16pm. We received a phone call from Jeff at 12:16am on the 13th, just an hour after Todd's birth. Jeff told Neil that he was itching to call someone to share the news, and since we were the only family on the West coast, he figured we were a safer bet than say, Grandma Susie or Brad and Courtney, who are East coast. I'm sure they would have welcomed a phone call at 3:16am with news of a new grandson or nephew, but it was nice of Jeff to let them sleep and awaken us instead. :)
Todd weighed 6 pounds, 14 ounces and measured 20 inches. He looks pretty cute in the pictures I've seen, and I'm not gonna lie - I'm excited to snuggle with him at Lake Powell in September.
Good job, Allison! And congrats to you, Jeff and big brother, Grant! We love you!
